This production was nominated for 2 Florencio Awards (The Uruguayan equivalent of the Tony Awards) for Best Actress for Susana Sellanes and Susana Anselmo.  The Best Actress Florencio Award was won by Susana Anselmi.   In March of 2000, this production was selected to participate in the highly prestigious Hispanic Theatre Festival held in Arlington, Virginia in the United States.
